Community Guidelines

1. Our standard

Orrbbit is built for respectful, consent-based, real-world connection. Every user is responsible for helping create a community where people can connect without being harassed, misled, exploited, tracked or pressured.

2. Respect and consent

• Respect a person’s decision not to connect, reply, meet or continue communicating.
• Do not repeatedly contact someone after a decline, block or request to stop.
• Do not pressure anyone to share an exact location, phone number, social account, home address or other private information.
• Do not engage in sexual conduct, recording, photography or physical contact without valid consent.
• Do not use intimidation, humiliation, manipulation or threats.

3. Authenticity

• Use accurate identity, age, profile and professional information.
• Do not impersonate another person, organisation, public official or professional.
• Do not use stolen images, misleading photos, fabricated testimonials or fake credentials.
• Do not conceal commercial motives or misrepresent a sales pitch as a social connection.
• Do not create coordinated or duplicate accounts to deceive users or avoid enforcement.

4. Harassment, hate and discrimination

• No bullying, degrading comments, targeted abuse or unwanted sexual messages.
• No hate speech, dehumanisation, slurs or exclusion based on protected characteristics.
• No threats, celebration of violence, incitement or instructions to harm a person or group.
• No publication of private information, doxxing or encouraging others to target someone.
• No discriminatory denial of professional services where prohibited by law.

5. Sexual content and exploitation

• No pornography, explicit sexual content, prostitution, sexual services, trafficking or solicitation.
• No non-consensual intimate imagery, sexual blackmail, sextortion or threats to share intimate content.
• No content that sexualises, exploits or endangers a person.
• No fetishised rating, “hot-or-not” voting or objectification of real people.
• Any content involving a minor in a sexual context is strictly prohibited and will be escalated.

6. Child safety

• Orrbbit is 18+; minors may not hold accounts.
• No grooming, sexualisation of minors, age misrepresentation, requests for sexual images, exploitation, trafficking or child sexual abuse material.
• Do not attempt to move suspected child exploitation conversations off-platform.
• Report suspected child-safety risks immediately through the in-app report function or support@orrbbit.com.

7. Location and physical safety

• Do not use Orrbbit to stalk, monitor or follow someone.
• Do not identify or publish another person’s home, workplace, daily routine or exact location.
• Do not arrange ambushes, confrontations or unsafe meetings.
• Do not misuse heat maps, proximity indicators, screenshots or multiple accounts to infer location.
• Do not drive or operate machinery while interacting with the app.

8. Fraud, scams and harmful commerce

• No phishing, romance scams, investment scams, advance-fee schemes, money laundering, identity theft or deceptive fundraising.
• No requests for gift cards, cryptocurrency, account access, passwords or one-time codes.
• No sale or facilitation of illegal goods, controlled substances, weapons, stolen property or regulated services without lawful authority.
• No pyramid schemes, spam recruitment or misleading employment offers.
• Professionals must provide clear, accurate service and pricing information.

9. Dangerous and unlawful conduct

• No instructions, encouragement or coordination for serious crime, violence, terrorism or exploitation.
• No glorification or promotion of self-harm, eating disorders or dangerous challenges.
• No malware, hacking, credential theft or attempts to bypass platform security.
• No use of Orrbbit to evade court orders, protection orders or legal restrictions.

10. Spam and platform manipulation

• No unsolicited mass messaging, repetitive promotion or automated outreach.
• No scraping, bots, fake engagement, review manipulation or artificial account activity.
• No attempts to reverse engineer, overload or interfere with the Service.
• No misleading links, malware or deceptive downloads.

11. Professional conduct

• Offer only services you are legally and competently able to provide.
• Maintain licences, credentials and insurance where required.
• Do not guarantee outcomes, misuse verification or misrepresent expertise.
• Protect confidential client information and maintain appropriate boundaries.
• Do not exploit users in crisis or present general assistance as emergency, medical, legal or financial advice unless properly authorised.

12. Enforcement

Orrbbit may remove content, limit visibility, warn a user, disable features, remove verification, suspend or permanently ban an account. Serious conduct may be reported to law enforcement or relevant safety bodies. Repeat violations and attempts to evade enforcement may lead to permanent removal.

13. Reporting

Use the in-app report and block tools wherever possible. For urgent safety, child-safety or privacy concerns, email support@orrbbit.com. Orrbbit is not an emergency service; contact local emergency services when there is immediate danger.
