Orrbbit helps adults discover and connect with nearby people and independent professionals. Orrbbit provides technology, not a guarantee that any connection, meeting, relationship, consultation, service or outcome will occur or be safe, suitable, lawful or successful.
Orrbbit is not an emergency service, employment agency, professional regulator, insurer, healthcare provider, law firm, financial adviser or provider of the services offered by independent professionals.

- Users must not use location features for stalking, surveillance, harassment, discrimination, targeting a private residence or inferring routines.
- Users are responsible for safe decisions about in-person meetings.
- Location features may be unavailable, delayed or inaccurate because of device, network, permission or mapping limitations.
6. Connections, messages and consent
- A connection request does not create a relationship, obligation or right to contact outside the Service.

- Users must not pressure another person to meet, disclose contact details or continue communicating.
- Messages may be reviewed when reported or when reasonably necessary for safety, security or legal compliance.

7. Professional Mode
- Professionals are independent users, not employees, agents or partners of Orrbbit.
- Professionals are responsible for qualifications, licences, insurance, taxes, service descriptions, pricing, conduct and legal compliance.
- A verification badge means only that Orrbbit reviewed specified information at a point in time; it is not an endorsement or guarantee.
- Users must independently assess whether a professional is appropriate for their needs.
- Regulated, emergency, medical, legal, financial or other high-risk services must only be offered by properly authorised professionals and must not be represented as emergency assistance.
8. User content

By submitting content, a user grants Orrbbit a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable licence to host, store, reproduce, display, format, transmit and moderate that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, improve and promote the Service. The licence ends when the content is deleted, except for backup, recipient, legal and safety copies.
Users represent that they own or have permission to submit their content and that it does not violate law, privacy, intellectual property or these Terms.

- Orrbbit may remove reviews that violate policy but does not guarantee the accuracy of reviews.
12. Third-party services
The Service may depend on app stores, mapping, hosting, email, notification, verification and payment providers. Those services may have separate terms and privacy practices. Orrbbit is not responsible for outages or conduct outside its reasonable control.
13. Fees and paid features
Paid features are not currently active. Before any paid feature launches, the price, currency, billing frequency, renewal terms, cancellation rights and refund rules will be disclosed before purchase. The Payments, Cancellations & Refund Policy will apply.
14. Service availability and changes
Orrbbit may modify, suspend or discontinue features, apply limits or conduct maintenance. Orrbbit will take reasonable steps to avoid unnecessary disruption but does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
15. Account termination and deletion
- Users may delete their account through the app or public deletion process.
- Orrbbit may suspend or terminate an account for policy breaches, safety risks, fraud, legal requirements or prolonged inactivity.
- Termination ends the user’s licence to use the Service but does not erase obligations or provisions intended to survive, including payment, intellectual property, safety, dispute and liability clauses.
- Deletion is governed by the Account Deletion & Data Retention Policy.
16. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. Orrbbit does not warrant that users are truthful, safe, qualified or suitable; that location information is exact; that professional services will meet expectations; or that the Service will be uninterrupted or free from harmful conduct.
Nothing in these Terms excludes guarantees or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
17. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Orrbbit is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary or consequential loss, loss of opportunity, loss of data or loss arising from user conduct, in-person meetings or independent professional services.
Where liability cannot be excluded, Orrbbit’s liability will be limited only to the extent permitted by law. Any limitation does not apply to fraud, wilful misconduct, personal injury caused by negligence where exclusion is prohibited, or mandatory consumer rights.
18. User responsibility and indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, a user is responsible for loss or claims caused by their unlawful content, misconduct, breach of these Terms or infringement of another person’s rights. Orrbbit will not seek indemnity for loss caused by Orrbbit’s own negligence or unlawful conduct.
19. Disputes
Users should first contact support@orrbbit.com and allow a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue. These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, subject to mandatory local rights. Courts with jurisdiction in Victoria may hear disputes, but this does not remove a user’s right to bring a claim in another forum where mandatory law permits.
20. Changes
Orrbbit may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified through the Service or by email where appropriate. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance, except where law requires renewed consent.
